Paper Filigree...Its fine lines and multi-textural effects are akin to painting and sculpting techniques; but rather it uses delicate strips of paper and glue to tell its mysterious and wonderful stories.
Lorrie and her husband make their home in Arvada, CO. She says that her favorite part about making her art pieces is how preciously God worked it out so that she could do something that she really loves and have fun while doing it. The intricacies and depth of this art-form provoke curiosity and often surprise for the viewer when they wonder at the detail.
Lorrie is a nationally accredited paper filigree artist, and is nationally and internationally published. She is a member of both the N.A.Q.G. (North American Quilling Guild) and The Quilling Guild, UK. Alongside displaying her work at Ethan’s Gallery and Studio, in Arvada, CO., she does commission work and teaches paper filigree.
